Dimensions: External – L 153mm x W 109mm x H 92mm Internal – L 133mm x W 85mm x H 60mm Frame 10mm/ Lid 9mm/ Base 11mm Bottom and Top Frame Height 36mm Description: I used horizontally cut slices of Burr Elm for the lid and base and vertically cut slices for the frame. This gives a “solid block of wood” look to the piece and shows off every aspect of this beautifully patterned and intricate wood. I have set Ledmore Marble into the lid which compliments the green hues going through out the grain. The edges of the frame and base have been left square and the lid has been rounded slightly. It is lined with red Ultrasuede and been finished with Cellulose Sanding Sealer and a Wax Polish.
