Candle holder in Oak Whisky Cask stave, candle holder, Whisky gift

This is one of my new triple candle holders on Whisky Cask staves. The Chrome candle holders are
45mm wide to accept 20mm candles. They sit perfectly on the 350mm long Oak stave. Incidentally this stave came from a barrel that was used in Craigellachie Distillery, Aberlour, north east Scotland. I tried to keep the beautiful patina on this stave so just light sanding and removing any sharp or rough edges. The cut end and any fresh sanded areas where blowtorched to age and blend. I have finished the wood with Shellac and Cellulose thinners, it brings out the colour and its mellow finish is in keeping with this piece. Three white 5 hour candles will be supplied as pictured.
As with all my pieces, i have added my “UBC” markers mark, in this case on the centre of the cut end.
